Dave Grohl Foo Fighters album is finished. The vocalist appeared on The Bill Simmons Podcast and revealed that the group has completed their tenth studio album.

“We just finished the album. Some of these songs, the best ones, were written in 45 minutes (…) There’s a riff on the new album that I’ve been working on for 25 years. The first time I played it was in my basement in Seattle.”

Grohl also revealed that he is working on a new documentary about traveling on the road in a van. “I interviewed everyone… The Beatles toured traveling by bus, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, U2 , everyone has had one,” he says, “There’s something special about it.”

“Why would anyone give up everything, quit their job, leave everything behind, just to follow a dream that has no guarantee of coming true?” he says, explaining that the documentary will be about the tour journey. “You go hungry, you bleed, you get sick, you get angry, you get arrested and get into fights, but you always go to the next show. Everyone has the same story.”
