Dave Grohl plays “Scentless Apprentice” in the same studio as Anthrax.

Dave Grohl Nirvana 's third album , In Utero . The performance took place at Studio 606, where Anthrax is recording their new album.

The band's drummer, Charlie Benante, filmed Dave Grohl's performance and posted it on Instagram. The studio in question belongs to the Foo Fighters frontman, who received a request from Benante to play "Scentless Apprentice".

New Anthrax album

In early November, Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna revealed he was recording vocals for the band's upcoming album.

Recordings for the successor to For All Kings (2016) began in May and guitarist Scott Ian said that “The songs are killer, challenging and a lot of fun to play, a real Riff-O-Rama.”
