Dave Grohl dreams of playing drums with AC/DC.

"If you listen to the old songs, there was a bit more dynamics," said Dave Grohl

Dave Grohl has already showcased his drumming skills in various bands, both as a member and as a guest. But there's one band he'd love to play with: the legendary AC/DC .

In an interview with Forbes , Grohl was asked which dream band he would love to play drums with. “AC/DC,” he replied promptly. “ Phil Rudd is back, though.”

He continued, “If you listen to the old songs, there was a bit more dynamics. They got into the groove. That’s the thing. And it’s because of Phil Rudd. It’s AC/DC, but he was the one in charge.”

Apparently, classic members Rudd and Brian Johnson are back in AC/DC. Judging by the photos that recently surfaced showing both of them outside the band's studio in Canada.

Chris Slade replaced him in the band .

Johnson, however, had to leave the band when it was determined that he was at risk of total hearing loss. He was famously replaced by Axl Rose Rock or Bust tour .

Grohl recently performed at a benefit concert in support of voting by Americans.
