Dave Grohl made a surprise appearance during a Sepultura in Los Angeles. The encounter took place at the performance held last Friday, the 29th, at The Wiltern, the last date on the North American leg of the farewell tour Celebrating Life Through Death.

The Foo Fighters took the stage during the song "Kaiowas," an instrumental track from the album Chaos AD (1993), which features guest appearances during the tour's shows. Following this, Sepultura posted backstage photos on social media and thanked everyone who participated in the band's last US tour.

“Los Angeles, thank you for another sold-out show! It feels bittersweet as we conclude the North American leg of our farewell tour. To the thousands of fans who came, sang along with us, and shared these moments, our gratitude is immense. A huge thank you also to Exodus, Biohazard, Tribal Gaze , and their teams for helping to make this an incredible experience!”

Sepultura's last show in Brazil

Sepultura's historic farewell show will take place in São Paulo, at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, on November 7th. Tickets are already on sale through the Ticketmaster website.

Among the international acts already confirmed is the supergroup Metal Allegiance, formed by Mike Portnoyof Dream TheaterAlex Skolnick and Chuck Billyof the legendary Testament, as well as Phil Demmel, formerly ofMachine HeadTroy Sandersof Mastodon, and the bassist and creator of the project, Mark Menghi.

The lineup will also feature confirmed appearances by Krisiun, one of the biggest names in world death metal, as well as the American thrash metal band Sacred Reich. Other guests will be announced soon.

Former members and musicians who were part of Sepultura's journey over the decades will also be invited to this final farewell, such as Jean Dolabella and Jairo Guedz, a member of the band's original lineup.
