Dave Grohl is one of the participants in "Drive," the new single by pop singer Ed Sheeran , along with guitarist John Mayer.
The track is part of the soundtrack for the film Formula 1: The Movie , which is scheduled to premiere in theaters on June 26th.
Although Dave Grohl and John Mayer did not participate in the music video, both contributed to giving the track more weight, with Dave on drums and John on guitar riffs, according to a post on Ed Sheeran's Instagram Stories .

Foo Fighters announce tour after hiatus and Josh Freese's departure.
After a hiatus, the band led by Dave Grohl has shows scheduled for the end of 2025, including a performance at the Singapore Grand Prix on October 4th, leaving fans excited not only about the band's return but also intrigued about who the new drummer will be, since there has been no official statement from the band about who will replace Josh Freese.
This will also be the first time the band has performed publicly since August 2024, when Grohl revealed the birth of a daughter out of wedlock and decided to cancel all other band shows.
In addition to the Singapore show, the band confirmed other dates for a brief Asian tour , also in 2025.
