Dave Grohl , during a Foo Fighters , dedicated the song "Times Like These" to Tom Morello , former guitarist of Rage Against The Machine . Both were part of the lineup at the Open'er Festival in Gdynia, Poland.

In the video capturing the moment , Grohl can be seen approaching Morello, who was watching the show from the side of the stage, to play the song up close. After the guitar solo, the musicians embrace, visibly emotional.

Tom Morello also took to the stage at the festival with the Italian band Måneskin to perform “ GOSSIP ,” a collaboration between the artists. Earlier, at the Download Festival 2024 in Leicestershire, England, he also paid tribute to Måneskin, and was joined by guitarist Thomas Raggi for a cover of the MC5 at the main show at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.

Looking back on the moment, Morello shared the clip on Instagram. “Crazy last night at the @opener_festival in Poland, having a blast with friends @maneskinofficial, Dave Grohl, and @foofighters!”
