This Saturday, the 2nd, the Foo Fighters reunited on stage for the first time since the death of Taylor Hawkins , who passed away at age 50, and Dave Grohl couldn't contain his emotion.
The band closed out a lineup that brought together more than 30 artists for a show in London as a tribute and homage to the drummer's life. Hawkins was found dead in the early hours of March 25th at his hotel in Bogotá.
During the Foo Fighters' show, vocalist Dave Grohl was visibly emotional several times and couldn't hold back tears when he started the set with "Times Like These." During one particularly emotional moment, Grohl paused his performance to wipe away his tears.
This was the first of two tribute concerts for Taylor Hawkins. The second will take place on September 27th in Los Angeles.
