Dave Grohl turned 56 on Tuesday, September 16th, and spent the day preparing meals for families affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. The Foo Fighters also cooked for inmates who have been helping to fight the fires.
According to Consequence , the NGO Feed the Streets Los Angeles shared a short video on its Instagram showing Dave stirring chili in a large pot. In another video, the frontman is seen unloading large containers onto a sidewalk.
Dave, who lives in the city, in the Encino neighborhood, is a longtime volunteer with the Feed the Streets LA , and previously organized a campaign in partnership with the NGO in March 2023, when he provided food for thousands of homeless people during a period of heavy rains in the city.
