Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl Nirvana

Dave Grohl says he still can't listen to Nirvana: "I remember everything about those records."

Nirvana broke up in 1994

According to The Pulse Of Radio , the Foo Fighters admitted in an interview that he still finds it difficult to listen to Nirvana , the band where he was the drummer.

“When Kurt died, every time it came on the radio, it broke my heart. I don’t put on Nirvana records anymore. Although they’re always somewhere. I get in the car, they’re there. I go into a store, they’re there.”.

"I remember everything about those records; I remember the shorts I was wearing when we recorded and that it snowed that day.".

“I was 21 years old… I thought I knew everything. And being in Nirvana showed me how little I really knew. They were one of the greatest highs of my life, but also, of course, one of the greatest lows. Those experiences became a foundation or a basis for how to survive.”.
