Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters was spotted outside the Oasis . Furthermore, he appeared to be buying an unofficial t-shirt from a local vendor. Shortly after, he spoke with the vendor and seemed to make a payment, as shown in images circulating online.
The event took place last weekend, September 6th and 7th, at The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Los Angeles. It was also part of the Live '25 in North America. Despite the presence of official merchandise, including a collaboration with Adidas , Grohl drew attention by acquiring an unauthorized item.
Fans reacted humorously to the images. For example, one comment on Reddit said: "Everyone loves a bit of piracy!"
On X (formerly Twitter), a user joked that unofficial products were about $50 cheaper than official merchandise. This situation generated laughter among followers.
Admiration for the Oasis
Grohl has always praised Oasis, calling them "the greatest rock band I've ever seen in my life." Furthermore, he referred to Liam Gallagher as "one of the last remaining rock stars."
On the other hand, Liam himself seems to share the admiration. In 2024, he dedicated the song "Cigarettes & Alcohol " Nirvana drummer during a solo show in London. Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher didn't always approve of Grohl's interventions before the band's reunion.
Last July, he said he wanted the musician to stop commenting on Oasis. Furthermore, he stated that he had no interest in talking to him and that he didn't have time for that situation. Noel also commented that he had nothing to say to Grohl, since he was a friend of his son.

Oasis will then head to Mexico City for performances. After that, they will return to the UK for two extra shows at Wembley Stadium at the end of the month. Following that, the tour continues through South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil until the end of the year.
