Dave Evans , the vocalist from the original AC/DC , has just released a new single, "Who's Gonna Rock Me?".
The Australian singer is accompanied on the track by Bad Boy Troy on guitar, Gary Partin on bass, Wasim Balzaar on drums, and Martin Gilardi on keyboards and guitar. It has not yet been revealed whether the song will be part of a larger project in the future.
Dave Evans recorded AC/DC's first two singles, "Can I Sit Next To You Girl" and "Baby Please Don't Go," remaining with the band during 1973 and 1974. In October 1974, less than a year after the group's first show, Evans was replaced by Bon Scott , who sang on AC/DC's first six studio albums.
Earlier this year, Evans was asked in an interview with The Rocker Diaries if he had considered returning to AC/DC after Scott's death in 1980. "No, not at all... I never thought about being approached because that was water under the bridge. And I was busy with other bands at the time, making my own music."
