The rainy holiday didn't stop the audience from going into a trance at Fabrique

If the world were nearing its end and that feeling could be translated into a situation in the universe as we know it, it would be a Daughters . Despite seeming horrific, the atmosphere of the performance is invigorating and full of energy. An energy that generates electrical currents around the body, making you feel alive.

Fantano accurately described the sound of You Won't Get What You Want , but by a sound," and the band's live performance further enhances this sensation, in a combination of violence and hypnosis. The band invites you to feel the chaos that exists within each of us, and without any judgment, it's a space for free and spontaneous expression.

As the performance progressed, the more timid fans who braved a rainy Sunday (and Mother's Day) in São Paulo to see Daughters, initially watching from further away from the stage, began to rush in frantically as time passed and the intensity grew. It was as if the five musicians truly hypnotized the audience and drew them in with an uninterrupted crescendo until the end; more and more people wanted to experience that feeling up close.

It's worth highlighting Fabrique's excellent sound equalization; the band absolutely killed it (literally) on stage, and you could still clearly hear all the instruments. A friend summed up the show as "dark feelings pulled from the worst drawers of consciousness" and said he was paralyzed throughout the entire performance.

Frontman Alexis SF Marshall plays, hugs, kisses, licks hands and rubs them on his body, takes off his clothes, and creates a relationship with the audience throughout the performance that transcends the physical. Some songs from previous albums were included in the setlist and worked very well with the current ones; singles like "The Hit" and "The Dead Singer" thrilled longtime fans.

Daughters refuses to alternate between high and low energy in their sound; in fact, "low" is one of the words that doesn't exist in the group's dictionary. The energy, volume, and intensity only increase until it ends. In the end, the lights went out, and the audience simply turned their backs on the stage and headed for the exit, as if nothing more was needed, after all, everything had already been left there.
