Ava Maybee Cardoso-Smith proved that talent runs in the family. The daughter of Chad Smith , drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers , recently used her Instagram profile to pay tribute to her father's band by posting a cover of "Universally Speaking".
The beautiful piano version reveals Ava's skill on the piano as well as her beautiful vocals. Her simple rendition of the By The Way received positive reviews and was featured on news sites around the world.
Ava recently launched her music career. Her debut single, " Lay Low, " was released in 2020, and since then the singer has released two new songs, " See Me Now " and " Colors "—all with a sound quite different from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
