The track is part of Daron Malakian's recent album, Dictator

System Of A Down guitarist Daron Malakian has created a nightmarish world filled with skulls and demons. This imagery appears in the new video for "Guns Are Loaded," a track by the band Scars On Broadway from their recent album Dictator .

“'Guns Are Loaded' isn't necessarily about specific things. It's more about a feeling or emotion,” he told Rolling Stone. “The song is about a feeling of anger, a feeling of rupture, of times when it feels like the world is falling on your head.”

He drew inspiration from “parts of our nature” to create the images for the music video. “The skulls and demons are symbols of parts of our inner selves,” he said. “When you’re at a point where life lets you down, a dark side emerges. Dark feelings and dark thoughts. When we’re scared, frustrated, or angry, that side can appear. The weapons also symbolize that. The song isn’t necessarily about real weapons. But they represent the despair of the moment.”
