Daron , a project conceived by the Rio Grande do Sul artist Eduardo Daronch new single "O Cemitério" last Thursday, the 11th .
The track is accompanied by a cinematic music video produced by Lampeja Filmes, directed by Arion Engers . Directly inspired by Stephen King 's Pet Sematary , the work features metaphors and atmospheres present in the 1983 novel that inspired the artist, delving into symbolism about death, rebirth, and the need to "bury the past" to move forward.
Regarding the launch, Daron explains:
“I wrote the song after the end of Peixes Voadores, my first band. The fact that I moved to a new city, leaving behind a lot of things that no longer served me, in a way I had to bury many things. There were good things, bad things… They are things that no longer make sense to me and needed to be buried.”
The track emerges as a turning point in Daron's solo career, inaugurating a heavier aesthetic steeped in symbolism. With a new approach, the single marks the new phase the musician has been building since his arrival in São Paulo.
