UPDATE: Dante Mantovani's nomination for president of Funarte has been revoked.
Dante Mantovani, who had been dismissed by Regina Duarte in March, has been reappointed president of the National Arts Foundation (Funarte).
The appointment was published in the "Official Gazette of the Union" this Tuesday, the 5th, with the signature of the Chief Minister of the Civil House, Braga Netto.
Last year, Dante Mantovani said that rock music "activates drugs, which activate sex, which activates the abortion industry ." According to him, abortion associates people with Satanism, which he claims is present in the music of the Beatles and John Lennon .
Last week, President Jair Bolsonaro praised Regina Duarte, but said he would like to see her more involved. He also said she was having difficulty dealing with issues of "gender ideology."
