In a recent interview with Louder , Worsnop admitted that he wasn't exactly a metalhead in his youth and that he used to be a big fan of the band led by Hayley Williams .

“I really liked Paramore when I was younger,” he reveals. “The only band I managed to convince people to join when I was young was a Paramore cover band. We sang two songs, that was our repertoire.”

Unlike the big names in metal that inspired Asking Alexandria's new album, such as Metallica and Led Zeppelin , Danny Worsnop's musical taste used to lean towards a subtly lighter direction. “I was a big Bon Jovi ,” he admits. “I loved Bryan Adams , AerosmithMarc Cohn was always one of my favorites. My grandfather loved to sing the blues, so I leaned towards that direction.”
