Danko Jones has announced his return with a new album titled Electric Sounds . The new album will be released on September 15th and its first single has already been released.

“Not working for two years really felt like touring rock bands were being sidelined,” Danko recalls. “But I think that only made us try harder. We still managed to record and release an album during the pandemic [ Power Trio , 2021].”
He continues: “We traveled as soon as we were allowed. Now that Electric Sounds is being released, it doesn’t feel like we’ve missed a beat. During the pandemic, we drifted apart. JC lives in Finland and Rich lives on Prince Edward Island. So the writing for this band changed.”
“We used to discuss ideas in our rehearsal space, day after day, but now it’s more about sending files back and forth. However, last summer, during a tour, we managed to improvise ideas in a rehearsal room in Berlin for a few days. From those jams came the nubs for five songs.”
Electric Sounds was produced by Eric Ratz and features guest appearances by Tyler Stewart ( Barenaked Ladies ), Damian Abraham ( Fucked Up ), and Daniel Dekay ( Exciter ).
