Dani Filth posts photo with Ed Sheeran, fueling suspicions of a collaboration

The two singers have been discussing a possible collaboration since 2021

It may sound unbelievable, but the collaboration between Dani Filth and Ed Sheeran might actually be happening.

The Cradle of Filth posted a photo where he appears alongside British singer and producer Scott Atkins in a pub in Suffolk, England. In the caption, Filth wrote: “Last week I was having lunch with the most unlikely guys after having a fun time.”

The possibility of an unusual collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Dani Filth is nothing new. In 2021, the pop singer said he would be open to trying his hand at death metal and listed Cradle of Filth as one of the bands he listened to most when he was younger, to which Dani replied, "I'll believe it when I see it." The following month, the vocalist confirmed that he was in contact with Sheeran to try and arrange a collaboration.

More recently, in February, Dani Filth said that he and Ed were "exploring possibilities" regarding a collaboration and that he had visited the singer's house, since the two live close by. What could be coming next?
