Dani Filth , lead singer of Cradle of Filth , proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Sofiya Belousova , on the afternoon of Saturday, June 14th.
The proposal happened on stage during the band's show at the Download Festival in Leicestershire, England.
Dani Filth addressed the audience [transcription via Loudwire ]: “I want to beg for a few minutes of your time. This is very important, at least to me. I’m going to embarrass my partner now. Sofiya, come here.”
Shortly after, Sofiya went up on stage. Meanwhile, a hooded figure entered from the opposite side of the stage while Filth commented: “In due time, ring bearer.” Then, Dani knelt and said:
“Sofiya, love of my life, my queen. You…”, he began as the audience applauded. The couple hugged and kissed. The vocalist then thanked the audience before starting to sing “Malignant Perfection”.

Cradle of Filth in Brazil
Cradle of Filth returns to Brazil in August of this year. The tour will feature Uada as special guests. The American band will open for all 3 shows in Brazil.
The bands will perform in the cities of Limeira on August 21st, Curitiba on August 22nd, and São Paulo on August 23rd. At the São Paulo show, the Brazilian band Tellus Terror will be the opening act.
