Text by Dan Lilker, bassist of Nuclear Assault, exclusively for Wikimetal , telling how music and Heavy Metal entered his life:

Music entered my life at a very young age when I started taking piano lessons at age 5, but metal didn't enter my life until I was 14 and heard Black Sabbath.

That changed everything.

And from then on, I was hooked and kept looking for more intense stuff to listen to.

It should be familiar to people my age – Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead – …and then Venom !

I knew that not only that this was the music I wanted to listen to, but also that this was the music I wanted to create and perform.

I haven't looked back since!

To Hell and Back!!!
