British band Cypher16 , consisting of Jack Doolan, Will Cass, Rich Hinks and Declan Doran , today released the title track from their upcoming album, It's A Long Way Back (From This Road) .
“'It's A Long Way Back (From This Road)' is about realizing that the choices we make in life have real, often profound and far-reaching consequences, and that they can completely change the lives of other people, as well as our own,” says vocalist Jack. “It also explores the idea of whether, once you're so involved in something, it's even possible to go back. Do we really want to completely expel the negative and destructive things in our lives? Are some of us addicted to the chaos that this causes?”
“During the current uncertain climate, music has also taken on an unexpected relevance. Where will we find ourselves when the Coronavirus is finally under control? How has the world changed, and will there be any return to how things were before?” he adds.
