On February 21st, São Paulo will host an unmissable event for extreme metal fans! The legends Cryptopsy and Atheist will land at Fabrique Club for a devastating night of technique, heaviness, and sonic brutality.

Cryptopsy, a Canadian band formed in the late 1980s, is a cornerstone of technical death metal, known for its absurd speed and complex compositions. With iconic albums like None So Vile and Blasphemy Made Flesh , the band has influenced generations and continues to devastate stages around the world.

Currently, the band consists of Matt McGachy (vocals), Christian Donaldson (guitar), Olivier Pinard (bass and backing vocals), and Flo Mounier (drums).

Atheist, hailing from Florida, is one of the pioneers of progressive death metal, standing out for its fusion of extreme metal with jazz influences and experimental elements. Their album *Unquestionable Presence* is considered a landmark of innovation in extreme metal, and its influence can be felt in many modern bands.

In 2025, the band continues strong with Kelly Shaefer (vocals), Alex Haddad (guitar), Jerry Witunsky (guitar), Yoav Ruiz-Feingold (bass), and Steve Flynn (drums), keeping the group's innovative roots alive.

If you're a fan of technical brutality and insane riffs, this is your chance to see two legends of extreme metal together on one stage!

Born in São Paulo and passionate about rock since I was 10 years old, I began to discover the world of heavy music when a friend recorded a cassette tape with Viper, Judas Priest, Metallica, among others. Following that, I discovered Black Sabbath and there was no turning back... A regular at concerts, I've attended hundreds of performances by the main rock/metal bands and their various subgenres. In recent years, I've been transforming my passion for music into words, sharing concert reviews and allowing readers to experience the emotion of each performance.
