Crypta released their new single “Trial of Traitors” last Monday, the 26th. The track is featured on the album Shades of Sorrow , which will be released on August 4th via Napalm Records .
“We decided to have 'Trial of Traitors' as one of the singles because, although it's the fastest and most aggressive song on the album, it still has a lot of our characteristic melodic work here and there, so we thought that this mix of these two extremes would be a good preview of what people can expect from the project,” the Brazilian quartet revealed in a statement released to the press.
The music video, which can be viewed at the end of this article, was directed by Maya Melchers and Estevam Romera .
Previously, the band released the lead single " Lord of Ruins ".
Shades of Sorrow is the first work by guitarist Jéssica di Falchi , replacing Sonia Anubis , and the second studio album by Crypta.
