It's official! Crypta announced this Wednesday, the 5th, that guitarist Jéssica Di Falchi has been recruited as a permanent member of the band.
Six months ago, in April of this year, Jéssica was invited to be the temporary guitarist for Crypta, accompanying the band on tour in Europe and Latin America after the departure of the Dutch guitarist Sonia Anubis .
With charisma, stage presence, and overwhelming technique, the guitarist quickly won over the band's fans. At Crypta's shows across Brazil, the chant of "Stay, Jessica!" became common among the audience , and now that wish has been granted.
“I am extremely grateful and happy to be a part of Crypta! I would like to thank the members, and the entire team, for the opportunity and trust in my work – and the band's fans, for the support and affection they have given me since the beginning of this journey. I am very excited about what is to come!”, commented Jéssica.
Fernanda Lira, bassist and vocalist of Crypta, also spoke about having Jéssica in the band: “Besides being an exceptional guitarist, Jéssica is a very cool person, easy to get along with, super proactive and creative. Without a doubt, she has come to contribute in many aspects to the band – it’s a great honor to have her in our family from now on!”, she said.
Born in Monte Alto/SP, Jéssica studied guitar at the Souza Lima Conservatory in Ribeirão Preto/SP, and has been working professionally as a guitarist since 2015. Her main projects include Hardwired Metallica Tribute and Iron Ladies – the only all-female Iron Maiden tribute band in Latin America – with whom she has performed numerous shows throughout Brazil. She also played in the backing band for the “1st Aquiles Priester Drum Fest”, alongside renowned artists such as Aquiles Priester himself, Eloy Casagrande, Edu Falaschi, Luis Mariutti, Paulo Zinner, and others. Recently, Jéssica Di Falchi became part of the official ESP Guitars artist roster.
