The Brazilian quartet Crypta released this Tuesday, the 1st, “The Other Side of Anger”, the third single and music video from their highly anticipated studio album, Shades of Sorrow , which will be released next Friday, the 4th, via Napalm Records.
Speaking about the new release, Fernanda Lira , vocalist and bassist of Crypta, commented: “With the third single we wanted to show another side of the album! 'Lord of Ruins' brought the melodies that permeate the entire record; 'Trial of Traitors' has the aggression and an accelerated rhythm; and with 'The Other Side of Anger' we wanted to show the darker and slower side of the album!”.
The album Shades of Sorrow was recorded in São Paulo in February at Family Mob Studio. Production was handled by musician Rafael Augusto Lopes ( Torture Squad, Eternal Malediction, Fanttasma ). The album was mixed in Stockholm, Sweden, by Daniel Bergstrand , and mastered at Fascination Street Studio by the renowned Jens Bogren.
