Chino Moreno Crosses project and released the group's first new track in six years. The new song is a cover of "The Beginning of the End" by Cause & Effect.

Crosses released their first and only studio album in 2014 and have been inactive since then. The band consists of Moreno, Shaun Lopez (guitar) and Chuck Doom (bass), although a press statement only mentions Moreno and Lopez.

The project's return comes in the form of a cover of the electropop band Cause & Effect, who released their self-titled debut studio album in 1990. "The Beginning of the End" is part of this album and features a sound similar to Depeche Mode.

Moreno did not confirm whether he will release more news about the project, but said that he has been reviewing old material, which has generated anticipation among fans. This news follows Ohms , the ninth studio album by Deftones , the band led by Chino, and the re-release of White Pony , a celebration of the album's 20th anniversary.
