Lacuna Coil's lead singer is on The Voice Italy

Lacuna Coil's lead singer, Cristina Scabbia, is the newest judge on The Voice Italy, in the show's new season.

Formed in 1994 in Milan, Italy, Lacuna Coil quickly carved out its niche, blending Rock, Metal, and a touch of gothic music. With the album Comalies , released in 2002, the band definitively reached an even wider audience, launching two of their biggest hits, the songs "Heaven's a Lie" and "Swamped," which was part of the soundtrack for the film Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

Cristina wasn't the first female metal vocalist to participate in the show. Tarja Turunen, former vocalist of Nightwish, was a judge on the Finnish version of the program.

The band last came to Brazil in 2017, promoting the album Delirium , released in 2016.
