Creed is thinking about making new music, according to vocalist Scott Stapp .

In an interview with WRIF , Scott Stapp revealed whether there had been any talk about him and his bandmates working on new music [transcription via Blabbermouth ].

“We’re talking about it, taking it slow. We’re rebuilding, relearning from each other, and reconnecting. I think this experience has been like… It’s like putting on an old glove, but we’ve all changed. We’re all older, we have children, we have different responsibilities and priorities in life.”.

“And we’re all extremely focused. And I think when the day comes that we decide to make a Creed album, I think it will probably be, if not equal to, better than anything we’ve ever done. Based on the life experience we have, on everything we’ve done in the last two years playing together. I think that sets the stage so that, when the time is right, it will be incredible,” the vocalist stated.

Creed's return to the stage

In 2023, after an 11-year hiatus, Creed announced their long-awaited reunion , and Stapp commented on returning to the stage with the band:

“Man, it’s hard to put into words. Sure, the cliché would be ‘surreal’. But it was thrilling. There was so much energy and connection between the guys in the band. We were having a blast, and I hope the audience saw that. And we were excited up there. I mean, we were absorbing everything, we were all present, all in the moment.”.

“And we all know what it’s like to have this and then not have that, so there’s a new level of appreciation for those moments. And I think that motivates us to do every show as if it were our last, because we’ve already been through that situation where we did that last show and then everything disappeared. So, I think that gives us a new sense of urgency, energy, and passion for every show. And hearing the fans singing every song and the energy that’s in the atmosphere, man, it’s a dream come true, and we don’t take any moment of it for granted.”.
