The new release is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the band's debut album.
Last year, before the sudden passing of vocalist Dolores O'Riordan , The Cranberries planned to reissue their debut album , Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, which celebrates its 25th anniversary. In her honor, the group decided to go ahead with the plans and will release the new version on October 19th via UMC.
Available in a 4-CD format, the collection will feature previously unreleased studio recordings, B-sides, the band's debut EP, and a remastered version of the original album. The work will also include demos from the early career of The Cranberries, when they were still called The Cranberry Saw Us .
Also on October 19th, fans will be able to purchase the remastered version in digital and physical formats. The vinyl will be available on 180-gram black LP and will have a limited edition colored LP. The new version is available for pre-order on this website.
Since its release in March 1993, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? has sold over six million copies worldwide. The album features the hits "Linger" and "Dreams" and will be the band's last work before the release of their next studio album , which is scheduled for 2019.
