Cradle Of Filth has released the official music video for “Demagoguery,” a track from their 14th studio album, The Screaming Of The Valkyries , released on March 21st by Napalm Records .
Directed by Shaun Hodson , the music video features Subject Eleven , a puppet controlled by hidden forces such as the media and government. Furthermore, the narrative exposes the rise of a charismatic leader whose promises conceal a dark plan: to pave the way for the Antichrist.
The legendary British extreme metal band has established itself as one of the most influential names in the scene, blending sonic heaviness, macabre theatricality, and gothic aesthetics.
In an interview with Metal Hammer , vocalist Dani Filth described the album as a synthesis of the band's career, without pre-defined concepts: "They are nine intense songs, without frills. We don't know how to make short songs."
On the new album, the current lineup — including vocalist Dani Filth , guitarists Marek “Ashok” Smerda and Donny Burbage , and keyboardist Zoe Federoff — delivers aggressive riffs, explosive beats, and melancholic melodies.
The previous single, “Malignant Perfection” (2024), and the live album “Trouble And Their Double Lives” (2023) preceded the release.
