Cradle of Filth has finally announced the completion of their long-awaited new album. According to vocalist Dani Filth , in an interview with Total Rock during Hellfest (via Blabbermouth ), the first single will be released in early October, before the band's European tour.
Work on the album began last year and faced delays due to the band's tour. As previously published here on Wikimetal , Dani Filth describes the new material as an evolution of the previous album, Existence Is Futile (2021), maintaining high production standards and vocal and musical innovations.
In addition, a collaborative track with pop star Ed Sheeran is planned for the special edition of the album.
Last year, the band released Trouble And Their Double Lives , their first live album in over two decades. The album included fan favorites and two unreleased songs. According to Filth, these new tracks partially indicate the musical direction of the next album, while maintaining the band's characteristic essence.
