The band Cradle of Filth has announced that they will release their 13th studio album, Existence Is Futile, this year.

The album, which still has no announced release date, was recorded at Grindstone Studios with producer Scott Atkins . The artwork, which will be shared soon, is by Arthur Berzinsh , who created the band's last two album covers, Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay (2017) and Hammer Of The Witches (2015).

Speaking about the new release, frontman Dani Filth assured fans that the album will be heavy and will have the band's characteristic dark sound. The album will be their first since the departure of keyboardist Lindsay Schoolcraft , which was announced in February 2020. It is not yet known who will replace her.
