Lzzy Hale , guitarist and vocalist of the band Halestorm , shared a cover of "Crawling," a classic Linkin Park . The video, however, caused quite a stir among fans of both the artist and the band. On the same day as this post, Linkin Park announced they would be revealing something on September 5th.
The artist's version of the song sparked a series of speculations, especially regarding her possible involvement in a supposed band reunion. This news gained traction particularly after reports from early 2024, which claimed that Linkin Park was planning a reunion with Hale on vocals, replacing the late Chester Bennington .
Information regarding the band has taken a few turns in recent days. Originally, fans believed the announcement would be made on Wednesday, August 28th, when Linkin Park posted a mysterious countdown that reached zero. However, the clock started ticking again, with another announcement telling fans to be on the lookout on September 5th.
