Bangers Open Air announced this Saturday, the 22nd, the historic return of Angra as the headliner for Sunday, April 26th. The band will perform a unique show with members from the Rebirth , in addition to the current lineup.

Bangers Open Air will take place at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo on April 25th and 26th. Secure your tickets at Clube do Ingresso .

This phase of Angra corresponds to the period that begins in 2001 , when the band underwent a major restructuring after the departure of André Matos, Luis Mariutti , and Ricardo Confessori . The renewed lineup included Edu Falaschi (vocals), Aquiles Priester (drums) , and Felipe Andreoli (bass), alongside founders Kiko Loureiro and Rafael Bittencourt . At the time, the band released the album Rebirth , which literally symbolizes the group's "rebirth."

Angra commented: “Headlining a major festival in Brazil, as a Brazilian band, has enormous significance for us, especially in the year that Angra celebrates its 35th anniversary. It proves that metal made here has strength, history, and relevance.”

The organization announced the full lineup, featuring Twisted Sister , Smith/Kotzen, Fear Factory, Jinjer, Killswitch Engage , In Flames, and others. In addition to the previously announced acts, Within Temptation , Feuerschwanz , Eluveite , Primal Fear, Tankard, Black Label Society  , Nevermore, Onslaught , and Crazy Lixx .

The 2025 edition stirred up the headbanger community in São Paulo between May 2nd and 4th, delivering a memorable festival with acts like Doro , Sabaton , Avantasia Wikimetal 's exclusive coverage : Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.
