The renowned 70000 Tons of Metal has just announced the Brazilian band Angra as one of its headliners. In their official post they say:
"Sailors, get ready to enjoy the dream Heavy Metal vacation aboard The Original, the world's greatest Heavy Metal cruise ship in January 2024!"
Angra is the first of 60 bands confirmed for 70000 TONS OF METAL 2024. These maestros of power metal will make Heavy Metal history on the high seas as the cruise sails from Miami, FL to the beautiful Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. They will perform their upcoming album in its entirety on the Pool Deck Stage, the largest outdoor stage structure for cruisers.
As this is such an important occasion, the entire performance will be filmed for a live DVD recording. More information can be found on the cruise's website and social media ( @70000tons ).
