Courtney Love once again took to the stage with the band The Coverups Green Day cover bands , last Friday, March 1st. Courtney had already made a surprise appearance at the first show on February 27th. Both performances took place in London.
The first show, at The Garage , featured Courtney Love assisting Billie Joe Armstrong on vocals for Tom Petty Cheap Trick 's "He's a Whore" and "Surrender," David Bowie 's classic "Suffragette City .
At her last show, at the 100 Club , it's safe to say Courtney Love felt right at home on vocals. After all, the song she chose was the biggest commercial hit of her former band. Alongside Billie Joe Armstrong, she sang "Celebrity Skin" by Hole .
After declaring that "later, he'll be back in Hole," as he bid farewell to the audience at the end of their first performance, the cover of "Celebrity Skin" the following night left fans eagerly awaiting the band's return wondering.
The group also played covers of artists such as Ramones , The Clash , Nirvana , The Strokes , Misfits , among others.
