Courtney LaPlante , lead singer of the metal band Spiritbox , took the stage at Coachella at the invitation of rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

The rapper, who was the second-to-last act this Sunday, the 13th, made the live debut of “TYG”, a single in collaboration with Courtney LaPlante on vocals and Spiritbox guitarist Mike Stringer on production. The song is part of the album Megan: Act II (2024).

This wasn't the first time Megan The Stallion and Spiritbox teamed up on a single. The band released a remix of "Cobra" in 2023, a song by Megan whose original version marks the rapper's first solo release since she dropped her second studio album, Traumazine , in 2022.
