Tattoo artist Joice Figueiró made headlines last week for giving birth during a Metallica in Curitiba on Saturday the 7th. Mother and son returned home on Tuesday afternoon the 10th and received a huge surprise: a call from James Hetfield .

In Instagram stories , Joice shared the news, writing: “Goodbye to you all because I just passed away. We just received a call from JAMES congratulating us on Luan's birth.”

Next, the tattoo artist posted a clip from a video she says is seven minutes long, where you can hear James Hetfield's voice on the phone congratulating the new parents, while both seem surprised and emotional.

The incident had already become a joke for Metallica themselves. During the show in São Paulo last Tuesday, the 10th, Hetfield reportedly commented jokingly: "If anyone is going to have a baby, please go to this side of the stage."

The couple Joice and Jaime Figueiró had tickets for Metallica's first visit to Curitiba since 2019. On the day of the show, Joice was a week away from completing nine months of pregnancy, but she received permission from her doctor to go to the concert. "She herself said she would be at the show. I said, 'Okay, it's settled. I'll call you if anything comes up,'" Joice told Band.

Little Luan was born at 11:15 PM at the Couto Pereira stadium, to the sound of "Enter Sandman," and is doing well. "The boy was born at the end of the show, during the last song, the most famous one, the one my father liked the most. There couldn't have been a better script for the story. I cried a lot with emotion. The song itself has a special meaning because it was the one my father liked the most," Luan's father told Fantástico.
