The lead singer had left the band in 2006

After four years apart, Corrosion Of Conformity returned in 2010 as a trio without their frontman Pepper Keenan. The lineup remained the same for two studio albums, the self-titled one in 2012 and IX in 2014.

Shortly after the release of IX , Pepper Keenan rejoined the band, taking on lead vocals and accompanying guitar, forming the current lineup.

Pepper explains that the reunion was only for a few shows, but then "ticket sales were going well, the band started getting invitations to play at festivals, and we started touring with other bands ," he says.

"It was entirely thanks to the fans. And that's great, it's a very positive thing ," he continues, saying that perhaps the band wouldn't be complete to this day if it weren't for the fans supporting the reunion.

Currently, Corrosion Of Conformity is touring with Black Label Society promoting the album No Cross No Crown, their first with Pepper on vocals since In the Arms of God in 2005.
