Another major postponement in the world of rock n' roll . The Foo Fighters have postponed the dates of The Van Tour , which was to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band's first North American tour in 1995. The shows would have taken place in the same cities where Dave , Nate , and Pat played back then, crossing the country in a van.
In a hilarious announcement, a trademark of the great Dave Grohl , the Fighters' vocalist declared on the band's official Instagram: “Hi, it’s Dave here. Remember me? The guy who wouldn’t postpone a show even when my damn leg was falling off? Well… Doing a show with a sock full of empty bones is one thing, but doing a show when YOUR health and safety is at stake is another. (…) The SECOND they give us the signal to go ahead, we’re going to tear it up, like we always do. I promise. Now go wash your hands. Dave.” Message delivered!
