Corey Taylor is working on a film soundtrack for the first time.
The revelation came to TellUs Rock , but the vocalist didn't give many details ( via Blabbermouth ): "I'm going to the studio to start recording the soundtrack, my first soundtrack for a film I'm involved in. And I can't say what it is."
“I swore to secrecy, and actually, I’m saying more than I should. It’s not a big film, but it’s a film I’ve been involved in, that I’ve been able to participate in. And I’m very excited. It will be the first time I’ve done the soundtrack for a film. So I’m very excited, man. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. And I’m very excited to get started,” he concluded.
"Thunder Force"
During the quarantine period, Corey Taylor, along with Lzzy Hale , Scott Ian , Dave Lombardo and Tina Guo (cellist), created the song "Thunder Force ," which is featured in the film of the same name.
“It was amazing to work on this track with Lzzy and be a part of the Thunder Force . It’s always great to be creative and work with other artists in the community, especially during this extended time at home. I’m excited for everyone to hear the song and see the movie,” said Taylor.
