During a Slipknot , vocalist Corey Taylor approached a fan who was at the barrier using his cell phone and slapped the device, knocking it to the ground, as can be seen in the video below.
The lead singer posted after the show: "If you're going to be texting during the show, you'd better stay home .
A fan responded to Corey saying that she sometimes texts him during the show to check on her daughter at home, and the vocalist replied: “Okay, that’s fair. But you could do that between shows or during song breaks. Right? ”
