The Dead Deads released this Friday, the 21st, the music video for the dark "Murder Ballad II" alongside Corey Taylor , vocalist of Slipknot .

With the release of their third studio album, Tell Your Girls It's Alright , confirmed for August 20th, the song follows the single "Deal With Me," released in March. The trio met Taylor a few years ago when they were chosen to Stone Sour 's tour in 2018 .

“I know a lot of people must be thinking: How did this happen? And the answer is: Corey Taylor is cool, he likes the kind of music we write,” commented guitarist Meta Dead (via Blabbermouth ). According to bassist Daisy Dead , the whole process of composing and recording the video was “very natural and also a little surreal.”

In the music video, Corey Taylor appears wearing the same makeup as the band members while singing about a murder motivated by "love," as justified by the distorted and toxic vision of the narrator. The first part of the song "Murder Ballad" was released on the 2016 For Your Obliteration
