In an interview on an American radio station, vocalist Corey Taylor commented on his son Griffin Taylor's participation in a Stone Sour show last week. Griffin went on stage to sing "Song #3" :
"I was so proud. Just thinking about it now gives me goosebumps. He handled it so well, and he was so immersed that he sang incredibly well. It was very radical. And we were all enjoying it so much that we forgot our parts. We messed up a lot of things. It was like, 'this kid is making us look good, my god.' So it was really cool. Just seeing him do that, I've never felt so proud in my life."
