Corey Taylor released his new single "Talk Sick" this Wednesday, the 16th, which will be on his second solo album, CMF2 .

According to Taylor, the "violent" guitar effect at the beginning of the song came from using a speaker "the size of a coffee cup".

“It’s like being stung by bees that are playing Sex Pistols ,” describes Corey Taylor. “There’s an element of spiritual regurgitation, of trying to purge the demons that cling to you because of past relationships, romantic or otherwise. You realize that these people bring out a certain seedy side of you that you don’t necessarily want in your life. It’s about trying to pop that boil and get that disease out of you.”

CMF2 will be released on September 15th and is Corey Taylor's first album with BMG . The album was produced by Jay Ruston , who worked on Taylor's first solo album and also on Stone Sour Hydrograd (2017) .
