Corey Taylor , vocalist for Slipknot and Stone Sour , revealed yesterday, the 3rd, in an interview with Trunk Nation , that his solo album will feature a track written during the singer's high school years.
Taylor revealed that most of the songs on the album were written in the last year; however, he has been working on the first track since high school.
The long delay in fitting the song into any of the artist's projects stemmed from not seeing the right content within any of his current bands. Therefore, Taylor's solo album will be the result of a long process of choosing the right pieces for this new phase of the singer's career. Excited?
