Vocalist says he can no longer tolerate so much disrespect towards Metal.

Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor gave an interview to the ETC Show, sharing his opinion on this year's Grammy Awards.

“I feel bad for Metallica because the band shouldn’t have been so disrespected at this point in their career. Metallica’s crew was banned from working on live TV performances. They don’t allow any band to do that. They have a sound engineer and a whole team that works on that kind of event, and our crews can’t touch anything, which is a huge bummer because problems like James’ microphone issue happen.”.

Regarding the fact that the band wasn't even announced by presenter Laverne Cox, Taylor said:

"And the thing is, they weren't even introduced? It was just 'Here's Lady Gaga...', and oh, by the way, Gaga's with fucking Metallica, you idiot!".

Later, Laverne Cox issued an apology to Metallica and their fans for her distraction.

Corey Taylor concluded: “We don’t need your respect. We don’t need you to make us feel like we’ve accomplished something because all you do is open our mouths and shit, and I’m fed up with it. So fuck you! And by the way, I won a (Grammy) and it’s not a big deal .
