Corey Taylor has released the newest single from his second solo album, CMFT2 , scheduled for release on September 15th. “Post Traumatic Blues” features a heavy sound, with similarities to the singer's work in Slipknot combined with elements of his solo work.

Speaking about the song in a statement released to the press, Taylor explained: “'Post Traumatic Blues' is my attempt to describe to people what it's like to deal with post-traumatic stress. Sometimes it's so hard for people to understand the highs and lows, the severity of the cold and numbness, that I wanted to try to build a bridge lyrically between those living with the illness and those trying to help them.”

The new track follows the lead single “Beyond ,” which was released in May and broke into the Top 15 of rock radio. CMF2 will serve as a follow-up to Taylor’s first solo album, CMFT , which was released in 2020.
