In a conversation with Steve-O for the Wild Ride! , Corey Taylor revealed that he is already working on his next mask, which changes with each new Slipknot album.
Although there aren't many details yet about the new album, both Clown and Taylor have already commented on the new material, with the vocalist stating that there's potential for it to be a concept album.
Regarding his new look, Corey Taylor stated that his upcoming mask is so frightening that even his wife doesn't like to look at it. “My new mask is going to scare little kids. It’s very deformed, man. It’s very uncomfortable,” said the singer. “It terrified my wife. She can’t even look at it, and she loves crazy stuff like that.”
Slipknot's new album doesn't yet have a release date, but all indications are that the band members are excited about the new material. "The music is brilliant, it expands on what we did with We Are Not Your Kind and kind of blossoms from there," said Corey Taylor.
